Walking for Special Olympics....

Special Olympians are giving their all, enjoying themselves and having fun all in the name of good sportsmanship.

These games continue each year because dedicated people make a difference. This difference was carried out this year in the name of the Cpl. Jared Shoemaker Memorial Walk. The Jared Shoemaker Memorial Walk may be over for this year, but the reason for the walk is continuing in Stillwater, OK. Giving the opportunity for those to give it their all.

The Cpl. Jared Shoemaker Memorial Walk (to benefit the Special Olympics) raised $12,000.00. In the last six hours, I have heard nothing but great praises for those who walked, gave of themselves, provided a donation, or just came to be a major supporter for this event.

It appears that the First Ever Cpl. Jared Shoemaker Memorial Walk will begin next year with, the Second Annual Cpl. Jared Shoemaker Memorial Walk.
